So, I'm having a little trouble with the norn tourney on my warrior.
Anyone have any special builds that they would like to share?
Thanks

Most old builds that involves interrupting bear form are a no go now. Bison and all chars will just attack as soon as you enter ring. No more spirit spamming so easily, I can't use signet of illusions a echo assassin report build. Dunno what else to do to beat magni that easy any more.

Pious Concentration
Dust Cloak
Mystic Regeneration
Mystic Sweep
Victorious Sweep
Lyssa's Assualt
Optional
Im not at my comp so i cnt post atts.
Magni only hits me 3-4 times with this,so he sucks.
i have problems with lukas,if he is the 1 with the stances,i try get him blinded be4 he can get auspicious started and after that it just takes abit of time.
Gwen blinds you with Sig of midnight, just gotta keep hitting and when blind goes ou have 2-3secs to kill her be4 she gets it back up.
You can take a condition removal for the optional skill,no blind really speeds it up alot.
Hope this helps.

i used a simple w/mo tanking build with mending and healing breeze, took me a few attempts as i would get owned on the 5th boss which was usually the 55hp or the warmaster with the burning arrow ownage !
the last guy was pretty easy with a simple tank build.
i think my skills were
doyalk sig
bonettis
deadly repost
dragon slash [elite]
gash
ever artery
mending ! woop !!!!
heeling breeze !!!! double woop.

My ranger just can't seem to get past Bison.
Thinking about going as a touch ranger, I guess any solid pvp build should work on here.

Ranger:
Use:
Burning Arrow
Screaming Shot
Disrupting Shot (or Savage/Distracting)
Poison Tip Signet
Expert Focus (or another preparation)
Lightning Reflexes (or Whirling Defense)
Troll Unguent
"You Move like a Dwarf"
Simply use that shout every time he purges himself run around the arena and degen hi with poison tip signet, might take 1-2 mins. make sure to only attack him when he's crippled. This strategy works for any char with ranged weaponry or degen spells. just try to keep enough energy to use "You Move Like A Dwarf". this also destroys other competitors great interupt =)

axe:
Berserker Stance
dismember
disrupting chop
executioners strike
dolkay signet
healing signet
plague touch
grenths balance
this is a tought build to use well so be careful but use Berserker Stance to start let your adrenaline fill then let your health get under 100 hp. then grenths balance followed by dismember and executioners strike. use disrupting chop on his heal skills. dont forget keep dolkay signet on as much as you can. plague touch is to transfer blind or any other condition.
this is a tought build to get correct.

I use:
[skill]healing signet[/skill][skill]sever artery[/skill][skill]gladiator's defense[/skill][skill]gash[/skill][skill]riposte[/skill][skill]deadly riposte[/skill][skill]bane signet[/skill][skill]symbol of wrath[/skill]
After a week of utter frustration at no warrior build that would work, I thought I'd try one last time with the simplest build I could come up with, which was this. And lo and behold, it can take on all the opponents! Note, though, that some need a little thought. Time your melee attack right, if they have defense skills up, trust Bane and Symbol to do damage. You'll do fine!

the spirit spamming still works , you just need to before you crossed the second line to go in , place all your spirits on that line but dont cross it , and onec all are set up , agro the person , and let the spirits attack him and use painful bond , if your fihgting a foe with AoE dmg it will be harder cause ur mobbing the spirits and they can kill your spirits easyly.

is the tourney possible as a monk?
Greetings,
Well, I posted this question in the previous thread about the tourney, so I'll repeat here. Is there a monk primary build that someone has used to win this tourney, as well as getting the specials (the 2 heroes and zho's book that I know of) within it?
A poster in the other thread, Kakumei, suggested that I check the prices for creating a 55 build, even after I said that I didn't want to do one. However, I did check the rune prices, and they were a whole lot less than what I remember them to be (I thought they were still around 15k each). Well, after using my PvP slot to go through the beginnings of Prophesies and get the -50 cesta, I started trying out the build.
I'm sad to say, however, that I can't figure out how to make the build work in this tourney. If I go shield of judgement, the interrupters in the tourney, like Old Mac & Joe or Zho and Onyx, defeat me. If I go mantra of resolve, then I don't have enough damage output to defeat others self healing, such as Mhenlo. I also can't afford to drop mending and healing breeze due to the degeners in the tourney, like Orion and Lo Sha.
What am I missing here? Is winning this tourney even possible with a monk primary? Could someone please clue me in. It's not necessary to give a whole build if you don't want, just at least tell me what secondary I should go, or if I should just scrap the 55 altogether and try a full health build.
Merry meet, merry met, merry meet again,
Wyldchild777

I haven't beaten the tourny yet, and I've only seen Bison twice, but I pretty much used Ursan Blessing to get the two heroes even though it took me a couple platinum to finally face Kahmu in the tourny. ><

Using a basic PvP Crippling Shot build, you can beat him without even being scratched if you're careful.
I doubt a Touch Ranger would work, your touch skills wouldn't return enough health to heal a 250-damage Irresistable Blow.
